Moving In

You will meet one of our placement officers when you move into your new residence. The resident care team’s contact information, contacts for after hours, and emergency protocols will be provided to you.

In order to make sure you are satisfied, the officer will give you a tour of your new home and demonstrate how to use the hot water and heating systems, locate the water stopcock, and follow fire safety procedures, among other things.

Your personal set of keys will be provided to you. It is your duty to create a backup copy if you require multiple sets. We do not offer locksmith services or lock changes. Please make sure you cut another set for yourself so you can store it safely with a friend or relative.

Before you can accept the property, you must fill out a sign-up form. This attests to the fact that you have been shown around the property, given instructions on how things operate, and that you are satisfied with the quality.

It is your duty to register all utilities, such as gas, electricity, and water, in your name after moving in. If you don’t, we will let the different utility companies know.

Moving Out

You must notify SAV Properties as soon as possible if you want to terminate your tenancy. This will guarantee that housing assistance issues do not arise. You might not receive housing benefits for your next property if you do not notify us in a timely manner.

You must call us at 020 8554 0500 to schedule a final inspection of the property before you go. All of your possessions, including furniture and personal goods, must be taken with you, and the property must be left neat and orderly. You can be held accountable and charged if we discover any unapproved alterations or property damage.

Make sure you return all of the keys to SAV Properties before you depart. You will be responsible for the expenses if we do not get your keys or need to change locks. Additionally, you should turn in the property’s power and gas meter keys.

Before you leave, you must make sure you return all keys to SAV Properties . If we do not receive your keys or have to change locks, you will be liable for the costs. You should also hand in any gas meter card or electricity meter keys for the property.
