Guide To Leasing

Over time, this will resolve any management problems that may arise in the future, giving you total piece of mind. Please take note that this property leasing guide is printer-friendly for your convenience.

Please ensure that:

  • Your property has good aesthetic qualities.
  • There are fire strips and a self-closing fire door in the kitchen.
  • Your property has a carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket (mains powered).
  • Every story of the building has a main-powered smoke alarm.
  • The kitchen has a heat detector that is powered by the mains.
  • Every room has a natural light source, natural ventilation, and its own entrance.
  • There are enclosed light fixtures in bathrooms and kitchens.
  • There are at least two outlets in every room.
  • Windows on the first story and upwards have restrictive

Please ensure you do not:

  • Forgot to box-in any pipe work
  • Have overgrown gardens.
  • Have any dangerous trip hazards in the property
  • Have a connected gas heater
  • Have any blocked guttering.
  • Leave any rubbish or building waste anywhere on the premises.
  • Forget to have door numbers displayed and a working doorbell.
  • Have gaps in between banister rails that compromise child safety.
  • Forget to supply all keys for windows, letter boxes and communal antrances. (if applicable)
  • Have any internal locks on doors other than bathrooms and toilets.
  • Have any electrical sockets on skirting boards.
